Our family booked a private group lesson a couple of weeks ago, and it exceeded our expectations. We went first thing in the morning and pretty much had the waves to ourselves. Mitch and James did a fantastic job helping us catch so many waves, along with the great photos that Fernando took! They were all so positve and encouraging, and were excellent instructors. I spoke with Bryan a couple of times on the phone, and was very friendly and informative. This is who you want to take surf lessons from!!

My kids had now for semi-private surf lessons with Uncle Bryan surf school, and both times have been outstanding experiences! I like that they tell you the night before where to meet to ensure the waves are good. All the instructors we have had have been so good and patient with the kids (8-11 years old). I live the option to add photos - the photographer is right out there on his surf board. We have gotten outstanding photos both times / well worth the extra money. I know we will book with Uncle Bryan next time we are in Oahu!

Had a great morning surfing some big waves at North Shore. It had been a while for my husband and me, but James was fantastic and patient with us. We caught most waves and only wiped out a couple of times under his direction. We also didn't run into anybody, which was something considering the traffic on the big waves. Fernando took some spectacular pics which made us look like pros. Highly recommend Uncle Bryan and his team of skilled instructors who were all very knowledgeable and experienced.
